Patrick McCarty

Patrick McCarty is federal affairs manager at NAMIC, serving as a coordinator for all federal legislative activity as well as a liaison to other NAMIC departments.

Prior to his current role, McCarty worked as grassroots manager in the federal and political affairs department, managing day-to-day operations of the association’s annual grassroots fly-in, the Congressional Contact Program, and overseeing NAMIC’s grassroots strategy execution.

Previously, McCarty served as grassroots manager at Associated Builders and Contractors, a national construction industry trade association. At ABC National he managed federal, state, and local advocacy campaigns, working in the government affairs department and supporting state and local chapters. He also spent time as part of the account service team assisting political clients at the agency Ackerman McQueen in addition to interning on Capitol Hill in the U.S. House of Representatives.

McCarty is originally from Alexandria, Virginia, and received his undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
