2022 YEAR IN REVIEW

2022 began a year of transition – American workers were finally returning to their offices; face masks were no longer considered a fashion accessory; and self-isolation – for the most part – was a thing of the past. 

Throughout the year, the property/casualty insurance industry, particularly mutuals, flourished.  Your association representatives were fixtures in the halls of Congress, statehouses, and courtrooms working tirelessly advocating for fair and appropriate legislation, regulations, and judicial rulings.  NAMIC membership also experienced the return to a full schedule of events, with 3,500 in-person and virtual attendees and more than 5,400 webinar attendees in 2022.
