Merit Society

NAMIC Merit Society

The NAMIC Merit Society is comprised of individuals who have demonstrated a commitment to insurance education and professionalism/service in the industry. Membership in the Society is awarded to those who, according to NAMIC’s participation records, meet the education qualifications for membership through event attendance and certification program participation. The Merit Society membership founded the NAMIC mutual insurance scholarship program and helped organize the Mutual Insurance Foundation. In the past, its efforts have included fundraising for the scholarship program and for the operations of the Foundation. Society members have served as ambassadors for the education and certification program efforts of the association and have recognized industry professionals with honorary memberships in the Society.
