Anna Buhlinger

Anna Buhlinger serves as director of federal affairs in NAMIC’s Washington, D.C. office.

Buhlinger joined NAMIC after serving at the American Land Title Association (ALTA), where she worked with members of the House and Senate on issues including combatting wire fraud in real estate and technological innovation. She also assisted with regulatory efforts with federal agencies and helped lead numerous internal committees, including the Native American Lands Workgroup. Prior to her work at ALTA, she spent time at Capitol Hill Consulting Group, focusing on the firm’s energy and environment, trade, and native affairs portfolios. Additionally, she led CHCG’s communication strategy to support client needs and assisted with policy issues surrounding higher education, public lands, and technology.

With NAMIC, Buhlinger will advocate on behalf of members with House and Senate Democratic caucus as well as Biden Administration officials.

A native of Bartlesville, Okla., Buhlinger is a die-hard Kansas Jayhawk and KC Chiefs fan who also enjoys fitness and outdoor activities. She graduated from the University of Kansas with a B.G.S. in Political Science and Communication Studies with minors in Public Policy and Psychology.
