Lindsey Klarkowski

Lindsey Klarkowski, J.D., serves as NAMIC’s director of Data Science and AI/ML Policy. She is responsible for providing NAMIC and its membership with policy expertise and analysis on legislative or regulatory issues related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data governance at the state and federal levels.

Prior to joining NAMIC, Klarkowski worked as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 insurance company, where she provided subject matter expertise and legal counsel on digital commerce, emerging technology, and AI/ML governance. In that role, she also worked closely with the company’s government affairs team to develop policy strategy on emerging technology issues impacting the insurance industry and analyze related draft legislation and regulation.

Lindsey earned her J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Minnesota. She is an active member of the Wisconsin State Bar.
