Jonathan Rodgers

Jon Rodgers is the vice president of finance and has held several roles in both operations and public policy since joining NAMIC in July 2006. Most recently, Jon was responsible for leading efforts to develop and advocate NAMIC’s industry-related financial, solvency, and tax policies. Jon spent a decade forging industry positions and strategies to reach constructive solutions and to build industry coalitions as necessary to advance NAMIC member interests.

Rodgers has provided testimony, authored dozens of comment letters and position papers, and has successfully advocated in front of numerous regulatory and standard-setting bodies, such as the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, the International Association of Insurance Supervisors, and the Financial Accounting Standards Board.

Jon began his career at NAMIC as a staff accountant and has developed a passion for implementing innovative ideas and finding better methods to help streamline critical processes and improve efficiencies for the clients he serves.

Jon has a bachelor's degree in accounting from Eastern Michigan University and a master’s degree in finance from Indiana University – Kelley School of Business.
